No replay for player 2 in PBEM

I am playing my first PBEM with another new player. We are finding that player #2 does not see the replay. Here is what happens.

Player #1 completes the orders phase then save the savexxx.dat file and sends it to player #2.

Player #2 completes his order phase and there is no replay.

Player #2 saves the file and send it to player #1.

Player#1 sees the replay of first turn before his orders.

So.... Can player# 2 ever see the replay?

Hi, Player one does not see replay he see actual turn resolution. He needs to send in addation to save file save file 001. 001 is always the last turn executed. player 2 does not need to send this file with turn. If you are playing more then one PBEM game as Japan you need to send files from 1 game before making a new turn. in another. Player 2 should load 001 watch turn then load the actual save file to make his turn

note there will be no replay file on turn 1 (it does not resolve intill player 2 send orders back, it resolves then player one will make his turn2 and send replay of turn 1....confused yet?

I'm jinxed or something. I never played PBEM as I waited for the FoW fix. I was also asked to concentrate on adjusting some innaccuracies (almost done with USN DDs...sheeesh, alot of conflicting data out there, hard to find definitive sources) with ships etc so playtesting not a priority.

So. What is happening is this. Bosun sends me the first turn (as IJN). I send my turn back (as USN). Bosun emails me that replay just shows Truk zone with no activity and the date has changed from May 1, 42 to Oct 1, 42. I removed all previous save files so no mismatch could occur.

Any thoughts? How blind am I?:rolleyes: I've had a few PC problems this week (almost F disked in frustration;) ) and have only attempted one other game PBEM (with Crocky) but have not received a response to my first turn as yet. Obviously, our game and the one I promised Kid are on the shelf until this is resolved. Sorry for the delays...I'm not windging out.
