Boxed version

Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: The German-Soviet War 1941-1945 is a turn-based World War II strategy game stretching across the entire Eastern Front. Gamers can engage in an epic campaign, including division-sized battles with realistic and historical terrain, weather, orders of battle, logistics and combat results.

The critically and fan-acclaimed Eastern Front mega-game Gary Grigsby’s War in the East just got bigger and better with Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: Don to the Danube! This expansion to the award-winning War in the East comes with a wide array of later war scenarios ranging from short but intense 6 turn bouts like the Battle for Kharkov (1942) to immense 37-turn engagements taking place across multiple nations like Drama on the Danube (Summer 1944 – Spring 1945).

About halfway through downloading - any idea when the boxed version will be shipping?

Been waiting for this one for a while, guess WiTP AE will get some down time!

Great - thanks Erik!

The whole Matrix effort on this game has been great! All the AAR's, chapters of the manual, etc. all excellent and I'm happy to be an owner of a game that will become a classic.

I know this info is somewhere but what do you get in the boxed version again?

Is it the full rulebook - I think it's black and white?

Also you get the download link to immediately use too don't you?

Depending on what manual is inside I may just go this option.

Thanks,
Adam [:)]

140 page printed manual (first 5 sections covering the interface) is in the boxed version. You can download immediately if you buy the boxed version.

Hey Adam, I forgot to mention in the other thread that I, too, am a Melbournian.

Are you also whiling away the last few hours of your workday, waiting to get home and download the hell out of this beast?

Well all I can say is that we now have the whole rainy night ahead of us and possibly very little need for sleep [;)]

Great you're a local too! And we get the weekend before the Yanks and Euros
