Combat Delay - New Data

Post by vaned74 »

It certainly appears to be related to how long the game has been running.

I have been playing for a couple of hours - finally had the idea to save the game prior to executing an attack. I did this, executed the attack and watched for 25 seconds while I waited for it to start resolving.

I then closed the game, restarted, loaded the saved game, and executed the same attack. It started posting results in 6 seconds.

I have screen capture video from both attacks. I also have the three following saved games:

1) prior to attack, prior to restart
2) prior to attack, after restart
3) after attack, after restart

Let me know if any of this would be valuable for diagnosis and I can post it/send it.

Thanks for your time spending with this issue. So far we were not able to reproduce it on other testers machines. I really would like you to run it with our latest code. Hopefully Erik will post another beta version soon.

It most certainly appears to be a function of how the long the game has been running as to how long the delay is. It just creeps up and up.

Thanks for looking at it. If you want the saves and any other information send me a pm.

I guess this title goes back on the shelf.

Can you please try it with 1.01 Beta 2? There was some mouse state related fixes which potentially can cause slowdowns. Thanks.
