Game Update query.

When I boot up the WITE I get the German with the bionoculars and the choices to go the Game Manual, Editorial Manual, etc.. When I clicked on "Check for Update' I was told there was an update for the game.. So I clicked on that and I got the beginning of the update then it stops with the sentence "War in the Pacific update...I assume its trying to download a WITP update to the WITE files... Anyone else get that possibility?

Hi,

This has been mentioned before, and is based on trying to update a beta version, when there hasn't been an official update yet.  This will be fixed today.  In other words if you use a beta patch the updater will not work properly for you, until a new official update is released.  Thank you for posting.
