Transferring Saved Games

Post by Le Ricain »

I have a new PC and want to load WitPAE to it. Which saved game files do I need to copy and transfer to be able to keep my current game going? Thanks.

Why don't you just copy the 'save' folder?

You need to do an install of WITPAE cos Windows needs to know its there. After that all you would do is copy the whole save folder (easiest method) and its all fine.

Rather than 'faff around' you might want to have a look at www.dropbox.com to transfer the folder.

Another question, Does WitPAe work with Windows 7?

Yes, it even works with a Mac provided you run WITP in a virtualised window within..........

LOl, hate the doctrinaire stuff. People should use what they are comfortable with - the only reason I use a PC IS for WITP!
