Well, I made the plunge.

I went ahead, took advantage of the sale and am downloading it now. One question, if anyone can answer. Since I bought the digital version how hard will it be to learn how to play without a manual?

I didn't think of this until the download started.

Well, I'm about ready to hit the buy button myself, so my help is limited here.

I'm not sure about your reference re: the manual...I'm assuming you mean a printed manual. A PDF manual comes w/ the downloaded game.

I have played the demo and the game can run in a windowed mode. So you can reference the PDF while playing the game easily.

If you have played Time of Wrath, the UI will look familar.

Never Mind, I found it on PDF and I'm printing it now. Buying a laser printer 3 years ago was one of the smartest things I ever did. I'm still on the same ink cartridge and no signs of running out of ink. [&o]

A little bit late to answer and you have already printed the manual, but hopefully you should be able to start without looking into it.
