1.01 weird screen

OK just patched to 1.01.
I seem to see brown little blotches all over the screen now. Playing the Operation Blue. Worked perfectly before. Any ideas?

Well that is what I thought but it is July of 42? The weather map doesn't really show anything but zones. Strange.

Don't think so. If it is mud it is really obscuring some key items. Anyway to remove the brown little "trees" from 3/4 of the map. Mud in July is that possible? Over 1000's of sq kms?

Mud in July is possible with 8% probability only if random weather is used. You can disable overlay by deselecting "show weather graphics". I think it should be better documented in manual.

As for possibility of short mud period, I would say that even those 8% are not enough. It is more than possible and even happened historically.

ok will check it. The rollover though on the hexes says clear. I take it that means it is not mud then? How do you take a screen shot in wite?

How do you take a screen shot in wite?

You can use generic windows tools:

- Press "Print Screen" button while running the game.
- Open MS Paint (or any other editor)
- Press Ctrl-V to paste your screen.
- Crop or resize if needed
- Save as jpg
- Attach jpg to the message in forum
