Storyline stuff(Spoilers)

Post by Cheese »

Hey, recently got DW, it's pretty awesome.

I'm in my first game and I've got a decent empire going with almost all the galaxy explored either through my own exploration or galaxy map trades. I've got both normal and RotS storylines on and I've been following the beacon things up to the dead space one with the army of Giant Kaltors. I can't see any more of those pinging blue circles or figure out how to find the next beacon. Should I just search ruins all over the galaxy? Is there a special requirement?

Thanks, Cheese.

Search some ruins if you can, otherwise slap pirates. They sometimes reveal special locations.

Or you can buy the info off pirates... but meh, why pay for what you can TAKE?

I've got 2 locations now, investigating them both. It also seems to help to have good relations with the zenox, they've revealed quite a lot of locations to me.

Edit: I just investigated some ruins and some refugees running from a 'brutal race' have asked to join me. Hopefully these guys don't bring their brutal race with them.

There are two types of refugees, the ones that end up saying 'go to location x if you want to claim their ships' are from the original and benign. No worries there. I won't spoil the other kind for you, you can look through the forums for that if you really want.
