Muliplayer Not Taking PW

Post by Zemke »

I am using the beta 2 patch and now the muliplayer is saying 1. There is a newer version, 1.01 which I had, but moved on to the beta, and 2. That my PW is wrong, and I know it is the same PW I have always used.

I have yet to get muliplayer to work, it has been one problem after the other.

My other issue, which I don't know if it was fixed was the muliplayer would not end/save my game, but I cannot get into muliplayer to see.

You can try to delete the wirServer.dat file in the \Dat\save directory and try to enter the info again. Ignore the warning message for the 1.01 version since you are at 1.02. It shouldn't keep you from playing.

Did what you said, no dice. When I opened the muliplayer screen, there was no name or password, and when I input them, it says "authorization failed".

It would not take the information and if I try and re register is says "this serial number is already taken" or something like that. I am completely out of ideas here.

You should be able to log into your account on the Slitherine site and reset your password (this would also check that your password is what you think it is). Assuming your Slitherine username is Zemke then your serial appears to be correctly registered.

Good new, I can get on the site now, or muliplayer. My "game" pw won't take work. When I accept a game, it won't accept my pw.

You should check that the password you were given for the game by the other player is correct. Or try creating a challenge - it should be accepted pretty quickly.
