Installation problem

I purchased this game yesterday and downloaded it. The download seemed to go fine. I tried to install it many times with my antivirus on and off. Everytime I got the same error about 75% through the installation.
A decompression error has occured (#1024). Unknown decompression error.

This happened with the 1st tutorial wmv. Retry didn't help. After hitting ignore, the next wmv triggered another decompression failure. After I ignored them all other file types had the same failure.

I tried to redownload so I followed the instruction but the webpage with my game purchase history doesn't show BftB although it does show my earlier purchases.

I would appreciate your help with this.

I recon your installation problems have source in corrupted installation file. Maybe he didn't downloaded properly. Check the size of downloaded COBftB-SetupRelease-DR-v40229.exe file it should be 876MB.

Did you receive e-mail from Matrix confirming your purchase with download link?

I checked the size. It was 876MB. I did find the email and am downloading again now.

#1024 Unknown decompression error - is very "general" error description indeed. I recon your anti-virus software is turned off during installation so that is no issue here. I managed to find this thread on Matrix forum:

I finally got it working. Here's the change I made. I'm not sure if it was the cause or not. Originally I was installing to the same folder that I had downloaded the installation file into. I tried downloading the installation file into a folder within the main folder that I later installed the game to and it finally worked.
