Race to the Meuse held up at finish line

Post by decaro »

Towards the end of the race to the Meuse scenario, an entire Axis command arrived at the southernmost Exit point near Werbo, yet only a handful of units exited the screen: the rest just stood there without leaving for over a day despite orders to the contray.

Exiting is one of the main issues Panther should be looking at for the next patch. For now, the best way to get them to exit is to give the exit order to each subordinate unit.

Hi,

Just out of curiousity were the non-exiting units in or out of supply?? I can't provide any hard evidence to support this but some curious happenings in my last 2 or 3 games leave me with a feeling that the supply status of a formation and/or individual units somehow affect things like exiting and gathering vp's for the occupation/completion vp locations. The manual is silent on the subject.
Probably just my imagination.......... although????

Rob.

So we're at war with the Russkies eh?? I suppose we really ought to invade or something. (Lonnnng pause while studying the map)
Hmmmm... big place ain't it??

Hi,

I'm very sure they were in supply, yet there was a cryptic message about the units not being in sufficient strength to peform the "exit" maneuver; however, in other games I would get similar messages about understrength units too weak to retreat (!), which is an esthetic issue to be resolved in the next patch.
