Is it possible to turn off the banner on the media viewer.

Adrian,

You can remove the banner.png files although this will not increase the size of the displayed images. The images are displayed in the dimensions I create and save them with. I'm more than happy to provide a new "standard" size to increase the detail.

To remove the banner, navigate to the following directory within your ANW installation:

C:\Matrix Games\Harpoon 3 Advanced Naval Warfare\Resource\DBPics

Create a new folder named "Banners" i.e.

C:\Matrix Games\Harpoon 3 Advanced Naval Warfare\Resource\DBPics\Banners

Transfer any file with "banner" in the file name e.g.

Banner_AGSI.PNG
NoMedia_Banner.png
Banner_Gouge_Box.png
Banner_HUD3_2.PNG

Once transferred, the banner will no longer appear although you then have a black unfilled section in your HMV display. Example of a "no banner" HMV display included below.
