Goblin vs VikingNo2 II

Post by VikingNo2 »

Me Germans ( Goodguys )

Him Amercians ( Badguys )

So far, Arty has been trading punches. 155s againts 149mm and 210mm ( Thanks to my friends from Italy:D )

Recon units on both sides taking a pounding from arty, his engineers are sneaking foword from all sides:eek:

More friends from Italy rush forward, thay are fast but sadly they are just as fast to run away as to run to:mad:  However they make the Amercians fall back into Arty fire; hopefully

Motorcyles and satchel charges don't mix many many German Motorcyles in many many peices:mad:

Strangely Know tanks spotted yet, they must be scared:rolleyes:

The Italians bought ALOT of 149mm guns! The Italians bought ALOT of 149mm guns! Repeated to stress that the Italians bought ALOT of 149mm guns! Viking stayed within our agreed limits, but Goodness! Mama mia!

Most of my forward scouts, supported by engineers, are dust now. We have taken a few German cycles with us.

I counterbatteried the living crap out of some on-board arty (81mm's?) that had revealed itself. Italian batteries CBed my on-board M12 155's, but they are mobile.

Armor? Am I stupid?;) :D Thick woods...

Goblin- A Goblin will tie it up;)

Time is 0200. Clervaux, the Ardenne. 12/44. Windstorm, visibility 11. Heavily wooded map, with a large, bare hill in the center. I think we have 10k points each, 15% arty limit, IIRC.

Hiding, yeah. Until your SpecOps boys showed up at my rear victory hexes. An airborne unit Caponed their butts with trusty .45's. Buh-bye.;)

My engineers are meeting SS now! They are there right behind the Italian Incursori squads and those evil armored cars. I call them Mobile MG bunkers. Anyways, SS troops no likey the 10 kilo satchel charge.:D

Another SpecOps squad has been killed on my rear victory hexes. They must be plotted right there. Brave men, as Viking hasn't stopped shelling it with his 149mm, and they are coming in under the barrage!

No Tigers yet... I am a little nervous...

Not a great round. I blew two of my own Engineer squads to oblivion with 155mm rounds. An M16 SPAA decided to park underneath a 149mm barrage, with predictable results.:(

I did kill a 251 HT with a 60mm mortar round. Also killed some Germans with my 155's. Found enemy Airborne troops in addition to the SS. Even the elite FJ don't like satchel charges!;)

An AB43 Scout car suffered a direct hit from our arty, and it exploded.:D Still no sign of German tanks. I did kill a Russian tank last round on accident. I think the Communists painted the black cross on it to confuse the enemy. Oops.;)

Killed the diabled 155SP, there seem to be a opening in the middle but it seems too easy, so I'm labeling that as a trap.

I see no I repeat no tank! A Goblin without tanks, I just can't fathom it

Remember, Goblin is an infantry lover! Rest assured, one unluck SOB will see them for just a second...  :D

This round saw me pounding on enemy infantry units. They no likey the flame-thrower, the tommygun, and the satchel charge!

Trap? Me? I'm not that sophisticated, honest.:p

I have seen one German 'tank', that Sturmtiger. The Germans without tanks?! I can't fathom it...:D

Here ye, here ye let it be know the Goblin does have Tanks( one less tank to be accurate ) :D :D

I ran into the wrong end of a M4 Flamer, they had a Italion BBQ:( :(

Another M4 took a shot at one of my Tank Destroyers, he did't kill me with his shot, I did with mine:D :D

The infantry on both sides must think their commanders are crazy
In the northern potion of the map there is a 300mm area with infantry( and a flame tank for the US) on both sides looking for each other. Inside that deadly box this round there was a 155mm barrage, a 149mm barrage, and a 210mm barrage.

Close Arty support with very large caliber Arty, if you ever wanted to know why enlisted don't like Officers, there you go:eek:
