Stealth B-25's!

I had an airstrike against a Japanese TF where there was only 3 B-25's attacking, but 4 got damaged! The 4th one must have been in stealth mode!

On another point what is further wierd is that I had a CAP of 27 Zeros over the TF and the B-25's only had 4 P-39's and 2 P-40's as escort and the B-25's got through and got 2 hit's on a CL! This is unreal! I had the CAP set at 5000' and the B-25's came in at 1000'! Does CAP have to be at the same altitude as the attacking force? Obviously not! The Zero's had the bounce on the B-25's!

I am running version 1.11.

Ok, I see. I have had the same problem with version 1.0 and 1.1. Occurs when flak or CAP shoots down all enemy aircraft. That, for some reason causes the game to give erroneous reports. (Ex. 6plane raid-6planes shot down but game reports 7 aircraft shot down). As far as I know this does not trigger crashes, just minor point differential in the game.

1° It is not a bug only FOW The air combat report is never totally accurate ...

2° It happens - ie : clouds prevented the CAP from seeing the B-25 before too late

Yeah, it happens. I once had a 3 plane Kate strike get through my cap of 54 Wildcats AND put a torpedo in Enterprise. Grrrrr!
