Warping of surrounded units still occurring?

I had the 118th rifle division apparantly warp out of a pocket in 1941. It was isolated to the west of Krivoi Rog and the next turn the area was empty, no combat signs, and when I checked the soviet side it was next to a port on the black sea.

I have screen shots and the saved games if you would like to see.
