Matrix forum special

Time of Fury spans the whole war in Europe and gives players the opportunity to control all types of units, ground, air and naval. Not only that, each player will be able to pick a single country or selection of countries and fight his way against either the AI or in multiplayer in hotseat or Play by E-Mail. This innovative multiplayer feature will give player the chance to fight bigger scenarios against many opponents, giving the game a strategic angle that has no equal in the market. The game uses Slitherine’s revolutionary PBEM++ server system.

To celebrate opening of this forum, we would like to present you a couple of images from Time of Fury, presenting game's features, showed to the publicity for the first time.

As you can see above we have implemented some diversity to the navy purchases.

This allows to better spend resources and to adapt naval warfare tactic to player's choices and country's potential.

You got to be joking wastelands [perfect name for this company] anybody buys this game has to be in the loony bin, you messed up storm over the Pacific so bad the last two months that it borders on criminal, all you had to do was fix the supply route to Australia and everyone would have been satisfied to a point but no, not you people and that goes for you too Doomtrader, this is partly Matrix's fault too for allowing this farce to drag on about the patch for SOP. The game is unplayable for the Americans when they land down under, I am sick of the promises from Doomtrader and Matrix about how they are working to resolve this problem, I am not a mean person I just want to have a game working that I paid good money for, FIX SOP now and the heck with time of fury, I notice none of the good posters are not here anymore, does that strike you as funny Doomtrader, after this post,my last here you can go stick your head in the sand again as you people from Polands Wasteland have done time and time again.

Sincerely

Bo

bo, once again I'm terribly sorry that you are unhappy with your purchase. However such things happen.
As I told you already it was a design decision, and this is one of the parts of development process that are uneasy to be changed. That was a much more to do than just 'fixing route to Australia'. It was changing the way how does the game works, however as we have seen it causes some issues and many emotions arouses around this aspect of the game, we have decided to change it, to work according to your proposal. Gamers opinion is the most important for us, and if something is possible to be done, we are doing that, to answer players' voice.

I would love to find your comment about last patch for Storm over the Pacific, released couple of weeks ago. If you have missed it, please take a look at the appropriate forum.

Also bo, as you have already made a large impact on the Storm over the Pacific, maybe you would be interested in participating in beta tests of Time of Fury. As we are still during the development process, it might be much easier for you to propose changes that we should implement. So bo, if you will give both of us opportunity to work closer together it might only end up with positive improvements of the game.

Doomtrader I told you before that I am not a mean person just want to play the game period end of story. The major issue was about the supply to down under, other than that I had no problem with this game. If you are referring to beta 104 I did not use it as I felt it was a trial an error fix, I personally do not like betas of any kind, and as for an input into your games I feel that I have no more knowledge of how the game should be played than you do and most likely far less, but I feel I have common sense and that's why I complained from the git go about the supply to the Americans in Australia but it was ignored and even Razz felt there was nothing wrong and told me so, but now you know and you are attempting to fix it and other things, the problem I am having is no communication with us, your game buyers, unless we start screaming, and beings I am the only one screaming then I must stand corrected as no one else thinks anything is wrong. Go back and look at your post answers, they only came after someone complains long and loud. This is not right and not fair.

Bo

bo, I'm referring to the 1.05 patch.

Also we are trying to answer all post directed to us, however we are only humans, and something can be missed. There is no problem to send me a PM with request to answer any of the threads at the forum.

Also if you would take a look at the forums history you can find that we have added many many features into our games in patches as a request to the players requests.

Sometimes we are just not able to answer as swift as we would like to, due to the various reasons, technical, personal, time related.

Bo it sounds like you know the games very well and it would be great to have someone of your experience in the beta test for Time of Fury. Is this something you would be interersted in. Hopefully it will help to avoid any pitfalls early enough to solve them.

It will also help you see why design decisions are made and sometimes compromises have to be made for playability or other reasons.

Come on Bo, you know you want to.

LOL! Well did he?

I for one would like to simply play ToW & SoP as "Bo" mentioned w/o all the nonsence game breaking issues as well! After that's done if ever, would consider buying another edition, no one likes to be an unintentional Beta Tester do they? Seems to me there are a few issue's that if fixed both ToW & SoP would likely be a big hit... I've played and play all the Big Titles released via Matrix for many moons and before Matrix was even around... Good Luck and please fix the other two games first!
