Von Strachwitz Strikes! A New Redleg Scenario!

Post by Fabio Prado »

I finally managed to post the long awaited "von Strachwitz Strikes!", by Redleg. Now you'll know who the Panzergraf really was, and can even enter in a competition to see who will be our own Panzergraf!:):D
The prize is the highest possible: a Knights Cross with Oakleaves, Swords, and Diamonds!

And don't forget: this one is for those who knows how to use Tigers! Precise use of the 88 mm KwK 36 L/56 and smart Tiger maneuver are what will determine if your men live or die!

Download "von Strachwitz Strikes!", another super-duper scenario by Redleg!

I want to say a special thank you to Redleg for this fantastic Tiger scenario, which helps to put the myth where it belongs and clarify all the well deserved Tiger's assets. His interest for detail is unmatched and his ability to make the SPWAW scenarios depict all these small but decisive details is almost magic.

I had to wait nearly 30 years to see Tiger get the adequate insertion in a wargame with SPWAW, and Paul Vebber was the man that did it with the OOB's and ballistic calculations. Redleg is the man who managed to understand all about Tiger combat and to design scenarios that give the player the best experience of Tiger combat ever.

All are invited to live this wargaming experience. Specially Goblins.;) :D

Thank you all for your support. Welcome home, Tankhead! Here are your new kittens, Goblin!:D

If anybody can play this scenario without losing a single tank I'll call them whatever they want;)
If something's not working you might want to tunk it a dite.

For the Tiger fans. If you want to know more about this Tiger commander, be sure to read the biographic information Fabs has posted with the scenario.

I really you enjoy this scenario. It was a blast to make this and the testing provided by Mojo and Goblin was instructive and very helpful.

Enjoy!

OPEN LETTER

To Redleg and Fabio;
Gentlemen (I use the word loosely) how dare you have the audacity to produce excellent scenarios (Redleg) day after day and publish said scenarios on your excellent site (Fabio) ?
People like me try to keep up with your work but you continue to overwealm me (us).
Just completed Tigers at Kursk and I want to say this: Darn it Keep up the good work guys. I only got a draw (Germs 4665 vs Reds 1709). I'm giving you guys one more try (oh yeah, you believe that). I going to try Von S strikes and it had better be as good as your past efforts or else !
All joking aside gentlemen THANK YOU BOTH FOR ALL THE TIME AND EFFORT YOU PUT INTO THIS GAME.
Sincerely Chief:D ;)

Thanks, Chief. Nice words, indeed. We try hard - sometimes things work, sometimes not so well.

Be ready for lots of targets! Good luck! Maybe we will be calling you "Panzergraf". I hope!

Thanks a lot for the kind words, Chief!
But the credit goes to Redleg. He is the genius that provide us with all that wonderful, all-envolving wargaming environment that we call a scenario...;)

Aw, shucks. First I find out that I am not in the "Panzergraf"
league and then I find out I am not in Goblin's, either.

But I have the "also ran" category all wrapped up 'cause I lost another tank.

Go get 'em Goblin.

Of course, if you remember, I did lose 7 APC's.

If it comes to scenarios, maps, et al, I am not even in the same sport, let alone league, as you, Redleg!

Goblin- A Goblin uses APC's as bait;)

Remind me never to shoot at your APC's if I ever play you. You heartless, SPW hater, you

That's a real hunter's mind in action - using the right bait and then the right weapon...:) :) :D :D

Great idea - I'm using it (Brent is goin' to shoot me) and my kitties are purring now, just as Goblin's. :D :D
