Wide Screen?

Post by gijas17 »

I was wondering if Close Combat's Longest Day/Wacht am Rhein support wide screen monitors as the series is old. What is the highest resolution in both games?

I have a 22' monitor and a native resolution of 1680x1050. Thanks.

Resolution including wide screen selectable from drop down menu in options

I've got Longest Day running on 1920x1080 wide screen.

Generally the bigger the resolution the better as you get to see more of the map without so much scrolling.

Thanks for your help. I heard from someone that there was no scrolling but a page jumping problem in these games? Can you explain what this means?

No, because it has nothing to do with these games.

You have been mis-informed.

I've had no problems at all with scrolling or page jumping (whatever that is) you can even select in options the speed of the scrolling to set it to your own preference.

I think what you have heard may refer to John Tiller's Campaign Series game which did have a problem when using Vista but that was fixed pretty quickly.
