Mid-game update to 1.03

I am in the early stages of PBEM grand campaign (turn 9 I think) and want to know if I can seamlessly upgrade to 1.03 without doing any major damage to the game in progress... I think I saw some comment about this but can't find it...sorry to ask again.

No issues with upgrading that I am aware of. I am guessing you started under 1.02 or one of the Beta's?

Going from 1.02 to 1.03 should not cause any issues, you just won't get the benefit of any of the data changes.

thanks - yes, am in 1.02 ... Given that I have been fortunate enough to get to the gates of leningrad, capture 2 of the 3 ports and have the 3rd port in sight by end of turn 9, I'd hate to see anything happen now
