Design saves

During the course of the game itself, is there anyway to save ONLY the designs I have made changes to and not everything in my ship creation/design panel? I have been trying to save only the ships/stations that I have changed... but it saves everything in the inventory.
The problem is, when I reload my designs, I get everything from the other game...

Had the same problem at first..the only option is to delete all that you don't need prior to saving them
So you can export them all to still have them, delete all that you don't need, export what you want for future games and then restore the full list back to still have them in the current one.
...Igniting stellar cores....Recharging reactors...Recalibrating hyperdrives....
