A Marine Moment

Post by CCB »

Just played 'Wild Bill' Wilder's A Marine Moment, the Mount Suribachi Assault scenario. Each unit is squad sized based around a BAR. What a GREAT concept! I played at the easiest levels just to see what the scenario was like, but will replay it at more realistic levels. The scenario played quick and in one sitting. Thats a pretty good thing for me, since I spend 40+ hours driving a forklift. Are there anymore scenarios like this one? I'm still playing v5.01 since I only have 56k.

I think this is a Bill Wilder adaptation of a scenario he designed for the above mentioned John Tiller HPS game, or vice versa. I don't know of any other SPWaW scenarios where this technique was used.

CCB, if you'd like I can burn a copy of the newest version of SPWAW for you, no problem.
I ain't no golden boy,
ain't no Grecian dancer,
and I ain't no loud mouth cowboy from the West...
I'm not the kind of man with all the answers, but I surely know the songs that suit me best.... LL

Thanks Tiger! Unfortunately I lost track of this thread. I downloaded 7.1 during the weekend. But thanks anyway though. :)
