Multiplayer Game Save Fail (over and over)

Post by heliodorus04 »

Any advice for saving successfully when you're getting a repeating Save Failed message?

It's turn 6 of a GC41. If I can't save this, I think I may never play the game again. I think it would break my spirit.

I decided I couldn't wait, and said no to saving again, and agreed with the program that the turn would be lost if I didn't save it. I don't actually know the implications of that choice. Hopefully the worst that happens is having to play the turn again.

There's another thread already started about the same issue. Hope they fix it soon.

I can't afford to lose this turn. Do you know where the other thread is?

Update:
My opponent says he can open Turn 7 and 'everything looks normal.'
I'm afraid some of the very very very important things I did this turn got lost (as though I never moved certain units).

Yes, we talked over various things I did, and they seem fine.
I save the game often anyhow, so virtually all of the turn had been saved before I opened it this last time.
If I lost anything, it was some transfer of air units, some air resupply missions (and I"m soviet, so not a big deal- probably good for ME given how many AC got shot down), and minor re-org of STAVKA units to HQs.
We're just carrying on.
