General Promotion

How can I promote a general, other than waiting until the end of turn option? I see nothing in the rule book, but I do see it was a feature added in the last patch. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you click on the general in question, at the bottom center of the screen is a row of buttons. I believe its the last button on the right that allows you to promote it. If you can't promote the general, you may not have the command spots available per the number of containers you have built.

...in which case you can always demote someone.

Thanks guys this is good to know. Is there a rulebook addendum out there someplace for the last patch? I don't see a readme file anyplace. It would be very helpful as I am still trying to learn all the ins and outs of this great game.

If you have installed the latest patch, there should be a readme file in the main FOF directory that has updates.
