How Can I get my HQ Back?

Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: The German-Soviet War 1941-1945 is a turn-based World War II strategy game stretching across the entire Eastern Front. Gamers can engage in an epic campaign, including division-sized battles with realistic and historical terrain, weather, orders of battle, logistics and combat results.

The critically and fan-acclaimed Eastern Front mega-game Gary Grigsby’s War in the East just got bigger and better with Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: Don to the Danube! This expansion to the award-winning War in the East comes with a wide array of later war scenarios ranging from short but intense 6 turn bouts like the Battle for Kharkov (1942) to immense 37-turn engagements taking place across multiple nations like Drama on the Danube (Summer 1944 – Spring 1945).

How Can I get my HQ Back?

Post by Manstein63 »

Clearing out su's from Northwestern Front & I mangaed to delete the HQ by mistake. [X(] Is there any way that I can get the Front HQ back without restarting the turn (playing against someone) & it would be helpful if a warning could be added to let you know when you are just about to delete an HQ.

You mean DISBAND?

AFAIK the only way to regain the HQ is to reload the turn.

The game needs those pink arrows. I see a "yes" button and I click it without thinking, I can't help myself.

Or a warning that disbanding Front HQ will cause impotence.

Yes something exactly like this. [&o]
Is this included in the 1.04 patch?
Thanks Sabre I feel like a total idiot that I didn't realise that I was deleting a HQ instead of an su. I'll try to pay more attention next time.

It's not in the 1.04 patch.

It's his way of telling you it's been in the game.

I saw that Manstein63 and I thought it was rather clever. I appreciate your problem since I am like PDH and kind of automatically power through the confirmation steps after I have done something a couple of zillion times. [:)]

That would be appreciated could you get them to flash my eyes are not what they once were. As to the passing of my namesake I feel your pain, but still you always have Fast Heinz or did you lose him too?

On the semi serious side I may have disbanded a major HQ once upon a time, and it did return one or two turns later.
