ToS should have an IRC channel, IMHO.

It'd be nice, but considering how sparse the population of this forum, what's the chance that even 2 people would be on at the same time.

Considering how excellent this game is, I'm surprised it's so unknown. I mean Noctis for instance (also a great freeware release) has a really vibrant board.

wherever i go, i always do my best to attract people to ToS... nobody cares tho, it seems.
even people in the Neveron chatroom could care less. and Neveron is based off BT, and is heavily mech-based.

Places where a line could be dropped might include:
Sarna
BattleTech Mod Productions
yahoo BTTCG group
CommandCircuit
DropshipCommand

But release is still just a little too far away for full effectiveness.

Well, I plug the living **** out of ToS on my webpage, but I can't seem to convince people to download it for some funny reason.

Also, I have no cred on the Noctis boards because this damnable Pentium 166 is too slow to run Noctis!

Your best location for insight and/or information about Titans of Steel and Titans of Steel:Warring Suns is right here at the Matrix Games forum.

I should also mention that the Warring Suns is looking and playing pretty **** good.

I have issues with overclocking...the primary one being that I'm not insane.

Secondly, my system lacks synergy since several of it's parts have worn out and I had to replace them with inferior parts, overclocking wouldn't help.

Sometimes ago, creating a channel on undernet was very easy, and free.
Registering a channel was a little different:
to register a channel, a registered user on undernet have to send a request to the undernet staff.
The request has to be supported by 10 registered users. If the request is accepted the channel is monitorized for about a month: if during that month there's costantly more than 1 people connected to that channel, the channel is registered.
But I don't know if it's still the same procedure.
It's a lot of time that I don't connect with my IRC-client

DALnet allows channel registering, and you dont have to pay :D
It's also a large community... over 2000 channels last time I had time to download channel list.
