I loved Dr. Who. What a great show. Now my favorite Whovian side kick has passed away. Makes me feel that much older myself. [:(]

Loved that show since I was ... 6 or so. And I still love it. So sorry to see her pass away at such an age... only 63. [:(]

A real loss - she was my all time favourite assistant to the Doctor. And her recent appearances on the new series were great.

It's been a bad year for Dr who fans - Nicholas Courtney (The Brigadier) passed away in February.

Yeah it's scary being in the age of dying 55+. People I knew growing up and went to school with and are my brothers age are popping off like flies. And here I am eating twinkies and stuffing pan pizza down my gullet on a regular basis (sigh) Mmmmmm chocolate cream pies. Ooohhh candy bars chocolate! Ummmm Cream Sodas (probably has the most sugar of all soda drinks). Ahhhhh my friend a large bag of Potato Chips. Hey I run up my hallway today (pant pant pant) on the way to get some BBQ chicken wings. [:)]

I had the honor of meeting Liz Sladen and Jon Pertwee at a convention in 1982. It was a long marathon with one or both of them being on stage for almost the entire convention. Neither lost their poise or charm and had the audience enthralled the whole time.

Liz was THE companion and will be missed by all.

I remember being sad when the Doctor had to leave her behind. Too bad, I'm on the road and on my phone, otherwise I'd post a picture of her back in the Tom Baker days.

Well what a shitty way to start a great day.

I always thought for sure Tom would go before her, but such is life. Anyhow, the Baker era was definitely my favourite. I dont bother watching the new stuff these days.

Professionaly speaking i fear she was referring to your hypertension, 180/100 is NOT good. Its a ticking time bomb!Either stop smoking and drinking, reduce your salt and Fat intake or prepare for Cardio vascular disease.Of course you may just have "White Coat Syndrome",best to make sure though.

Germany's unforgivable crime before the Second World War was her attempt to extricate her economy from the world's trading system and to create her own exchange mechanism which would deny world finance its opportunity to profit.

I loved Dr. Who. What a great show. Now my favorite Whovian side kick has passed away ...

... of cancer.

The UK felt the same way abt Sladen; when she left the series, it was front page news usually reserved only for a new "Doctor".

Her character ran from (the late) Jon Pertwee -- her favorite doctor -- to Tom Baker.
