Building bridges

Engineers can´t build bridges when they travel by trucks. It should be possible: They don´t work inside the trucks. Is it a bug?

if you stack your engineers with trucks in the same unit you need 55 AP to cross a small river and 100 AP to cross a big river.

I was trying to build a bridge in Low mountains travelling by trucks. I got it with horses or moving on foot, but was impossible to build it with trucks. Maybe because trucks cannot enter in mountains?

basicly the whole unit must be able to cross the river as normal movement. if the unit cant move over the river normally it cant build a bridge either.

Another catch is the available ore or even the EP's. Are both available in sufficient quantities ? I got tripped up on this one for a while.

I think so. There were about 50 engineers with 3 trucks. I tried it several times without success. Then I transfered the trucks to another unit and got it instantly.

Ok. Then the only way to build it is to transfer the trucks (not the horses cos they can move on mountains) and start working.
