Empires in Arms is the computer version of Australian Design Group classic board game. Empires in Arms is a seven player game of grand strategy set during the Napoleonic period of 1805-1815. The unit scale is corps level with full diplomatic options

CONVOY FLEET OPTION ?

I know that there is some allowance made within the game regarding merchant fleets and supplys,but hows about to enhance the naval side off the game even more,so that it's not so boring and very dull,that maybe just for arguments sake,to introduce an option to have a convoy fleet per Nation,where by if it reaches it's destination safely without interception,then the Nation to which it belongs is rewarded with more money,or 1 victory point ?

For example we could have a Convoy Fleet leave London,with a destination of Gibraltar or Malta,where ever you might want to send it,it is then upto your enemies to try and stop this fleet from reaching it's destination,and if they succeed in stopping it,by either forcing it to return to it's original port off departure,or by destroying it,in which case it would be them that is rewarded with more money,victory point or points,whatever this is just a thought that might make the naval game alot more interactive and interesting.

Nice idea on paper but I suspect it would just add far more complication to the game without really improving it.
