Can we draw supply across impassable ground?

Post by Fred98 »

In the tutorial scenario, on the right hand side is an engineer unit and a armoured unit.

If the engineer does not build a bridge these units cannot link up with the other friendly units.

And yet they remain in supply.

Can a unit draw supply across impassible ground?

The Manual only refers to supply lines being affected by enemy units and EZoCs. Nothing about terrain.

In this example could the supply line be through the mountains? Also not sure if there is a default Full supply at the start of the scenario. However ran the scenario through until the 2nd supply check at 0600 next day and everyone is still in Full supply.

Just ran a test map and can confirm that Supply isn't affected by terrain. I encircled a unit by river and it remained in Full supply on the initial and 2nd supply check.

Also to clarify, there is an initial supply check at the start of the game; so units can start in Limited supply if they don't have a Supply Line to their HQ.
