Single Player Campaigns

Under the latest patch I can no longer advance campaign scenarios. When I complete a mission, and then go to the briefing screen for the next mission I cannot advance into the mission with the check button. I click the "check" to start the new mission, and nothing happens. I have to exit out of the game, reload, and then go back into that particular campaign to start the next mission. The game is not hung up, as I can exit to the menu screen, it just refuses to load the map. This happens in all campaigns, and I have performed a clean install of the game with the latest patch.

Any advice?

Someone else had the same problem but I can't find the post here or at Slitherine.

Try deleting the MyGames\BBCBA folder after backing up somewhere else.

Thanks. I also couldn't find anything relating to this. I will give this a try and see what happens. Be nice if I didn't have to lose all of my progress thus far.

IIRC I tracked this down to a bug. I believe it only occurs if you load a game and then win the battle. This is fixed in the next update which is currently in test. Sorry for the annoyance of having to go in and out.

Pip, good to know. Thanks for the response. The game is still perfectly playble, just a minor annoyance. Look forward to the next patch.
