My Revenge

Post by Hades »

Hades-Russia
Dannyboy- Germany
7k points
10% arty
2 airstrikes each

My first game with Danny I was going great. I had Pershings in wonderful firing positions. Has his King Tigers came into view, I opened fire. Shell after shell bonced off the armor. I thought that was normal, but when it continued for 5 turns I began to wonder. By the time I had surrended, turn 6, very one of my tanks was smoking. The next day Danny tells me that he had tank toughness for his side on 200%. This time the game is fair, and the Bear is going to teach Mr. Tiger a lesson.

This turn an IS-152 fired at a King Tiger and destoryed it. Most of Dannys arty fell short of my lines, while two P-63 split two Elephants open with 500lbers. Surrender?

My tanks revved their engines, and started to move forward firing at the sole Tiger left of the battlefield. Suddenly a 8.8cm shell comes out of nowhere and impacts on the turrent of an IS-3. The crew chuckles to themselves as the turret slowly turns. The Elephant comes into view, and the 122mm gun belchs fire. The shell screams down range and skips off the side armor. While the Elephant was taking fire another IS-3 advances down a road. Has it starts to turn a bend a shell bongs on its frount hull. The tanks gunner automaticaly fires back, hitting the King Tiger in the turret. Another IS-3 slowly starts crawling toward the King. For some reason the Kings crew doesn't fire(most likely because they are trembling) the IS-3 gets within 50 yards and fires. All that is left of the King Tiger is a burning hulk.

By now the lonley germans are wondering why they ever listened to the crazy hopes given to them by the mad man they call the furler. Waves of panik spread over the crew of an elephant as they watch a king tiger explode after a 122 shell rips though it. hope now lies on the overdue reinfocements. But fear is a contagise pluage on combat forces. The situation looks grime.

On the other side of the battlefield, the men are enjoying a nice ride in the country, only pause to swat at gnats. Looks like a crew of an IS-152 open their vodka bottle a little to soon, because not only did they manage to get the tank stuck, they managed to find a 88 shell. Other than that mishape the advance continues.

Don't look Danny.

In a heroic display 3 tigers and 1 elephant stand alone against the oncomeing hord of stinking russians. One 8.8 shell lucked out against a is-152 blowing it to hell. 6 8.8 bounced harmlessly off the shell of the lead is-3. Hope of seeing home and loved ones is long gone.

Nope none of you Germans will see home. You get a free trip to Moscow to build Stalin's grand subway.
This turn I lost a IS-3:eek: when it turned to fire at some inf and a King Tiger got a side shot on it. Oh well, I only have 9 more. I also lost a t-44 when it was ambushed has it came out of some trees. Long live the Motherland!!!

This turn I flamed a King Tiger and throughly erased one from existence with a 152mm shell. Danny says he has something planned, I hope its worth waiting for.

just in time the calvary arrives in the form of 10 elaphants and there support tanks rolling up from the south in the middle his advance killes two tigers but my guys to the north kill a southern is-3. From the north rolls down 9 tigers that i have been hiding since the begining. I have him in the barrel if I dont have many heavy loses hopeful i can turn the tides.

From the north rolls Tigers, from the south comes Elephants and Sturmtigers. My poor IS-3 are in the middle. I will give up on taking the final hexs and withdraw back to my hexs and pick off his tanks from long range. I lost my final IS-152 this turn, and I'm down to 6 IS-3s. Rodina forever!!

The earth trembles and russian crew-men are stunned as tigers and elephants screem in from two sides. Instanly two smaller tanks are destroyed. Flames fly from the barrels of the nazi tanks and two IS-3's fall victim to 8.8 rounds. The rest of the force turn thier tails to run away and lick thier wounds. Though I outnumber them now in armor I have no doubts about the hardships I still face. Somewhere out there is a large number of INF that will surely cost the lives of many a german soul. Though a well diserved victory the outcome of this battle is yet to be seen. I show me deepest respect and admirastion to the comander of these foes. He is a man to never be underestimeted. At the same time I hope to bring him a quick death.

Well thanks. This turn I lost another IS-3 to a cheap shot in the back as it was running away. Back in the woods my engineers are checking their satchel charges and flamethrowers. We could end it here Danny. Surrender? Trust me you don't want to come up that slope.

He lost a IS-3 while running for its life. Another one died bravely standing almost totally alone against 9 tigers. The elephants are falling behind due to an annoying infestation of two IS-3's Ifear I will lose at lest one to this turn. As for the enginers I have something in store for them though I am not sure how effective it will be. I am still unsure as to the fate of my gallent army. Though moral has risen and there is russian blood and revenge on the mens minds.
