Find Next Unit?

The Seven Years’ War was fought across the globe and called by some the first “World War” as virtually every major power participated. In the center of events was Prussia, almost constantly at war and lead by the now legendary Frederick the Great.

Relive the exciting and trying days of Frederick the Great in Horse and Musket: Volume I, the improved and expanded combination of the previous Prussian War Machine and Prussia’s Glory titles. Horse and Musket: Volume I is a reboot of the successful Horse and Musket series, including not only two solid historical titles in one package, but also many new game features, a powerful new editor, and a complete graphics overhaul to an already acclaimed gaming system.

Find Next Unit?

Post by LarryP »

When I click the "Find Next Unit" button, the screen moves around but no units are highlighted or separated to show which one is being shown?! How do you know?

Chotusitz, Prussia, turn 5. However it does not show a unit highlighted in any scenario because I have tried a few. It centers a unit on the screen as it moves around, but when it's crowded it's hard to tell which one is chosen. Seems to me it should be outlined in a different color or something?

What screens would I give you, ones that show it not working? If there's no units shown when I click it then what would I capture?

It happens all the time. I have never seen a troop shown after clicking the button. Nothing highlighted ever. The screen moves to center it but nothing else.

Actually, can you save the game at that point and upload the save file here? Should be re-creatable from that.

When I click the Find Next Unit button it does not highlight ANY units or distinguish them from any other. It does it in every scenario I try, not just one saved game.

Here's two saved games. Rename the file with a zip extension. I had to name it with a jpg extension for the uploader to accept it.

Could you email the zipped file to me at boku@att.net?  It's treating the file as a image that it can't display due to the extension.

I'm not being given the option. When I left click it, it tries to open it as a jpg and gives me a broken link image. When I right click it as select Save Link/Target As, it tries to save the page itself and not the link target. Is there another trick?

I sent it to your address above that you gave me. It seems like we used to download and rename the extension, but I tried it like you said and it would not work. Pretty crummy.

Oh well...
