Dedicated training air groups

Post by Shark7 »

This may or may not have been covered somewhere in the past, but I can't find what I'm looking for:

If one were to use the Trainer check box and create a dedicated training air group in the editor, is the AI capable of using it intelligently, or does it just ignore it?

Players I don't worry about, I think you are all smart enough to put it to use, but the AI...not so much.

In RA we created three Training Squadrons (36 Planes I think)on the West Coast for the US Navy. There is one VF, 1 VB, and 1 VT that are permanently assigned to the West Coast HQ. Make sure you make it permanent because they can be moved into combat otherwise.
