End Battle crashes on updated version

Has anyone else experienced this?
I have been playing a campaign and I am about 4 days in (Dec 20) and on this one map (Nadrin) the game keeps crashing when the enemy retreats or is beaten and it is transferring to the after action report. It is bad enough that I have to play the battle over but it then corupts the previous save and I lose the save setting me back. This has happend a few times previously after the update and so I have gone to saving after every battle but now it is eating up saves every time it crashes.

Is this my experience alone or has anyone else had this terribly frustrating experience?

Just out of curiosity did you change your installation in the middle of playing that GC by chance? What version of the game are you playing? Have you downloaded and installed the recent official update?
