What does neutralized mean?

What does neutralized mean?

An attack with a strategic bomber again a unit sometimes results in a "neutralized" result with a little white box.

What does this mean?

Strategic bombers have a special ability to neutralize enemy's cities/airfields. When this happens, the flag on the city/airfield changes to white, and your opponent won't be able to use it for purchases/upgrades/etc. until he recaptures it.
