The Music

Fans of the old Panzer General series rejoice for the release of Panzer Corps. Following in the footsteps of the popular SSI masterpiece and sharing with the General series the same level of engagement and strategic depth, Panzer Corps will keep an unmistakable "PG feeling" whilst improving and refining the gameplay and balance. Is it just me or is somebody else noticing that a small part of the music REALLY sounds like the Imperial March from Star Wars? [:D]

Hmm, never noticed anything like that, although I'm a big fan of Star Wars and Imperial March, and I listened PzC music hundreds of times too. :) What track and fragment exactly?

I wish there were more tracks. The few that are included are pretty good though when you are battling it out over the vast steppes.

It's hard to describe.. let me check again, there is one part (it's only for 3-4 seconds) that sounds exactly like Star Wars. it inspired to turned on the real imperial march while invading Norway. Even better than Wagner on Apokalypse Now ;)

I turned it off after listening to it for three battles in the training campaign. Sooooooo repetitive...

Funny to me it sounded like the "Mars" theme from Holtz;s "The Planets"....
