Testers

Post by Marshall Ellis »

Hey guys:

I know many of you have emailed about being testers and my follow up has been a little lacking (To say the least). I need a full time person just to manage my email traffic :-0

I am asking that you email me again (If you're still interested) in being a tester.

The project could really use a few more dedicated testers since I think this will help make new releases much more stable.

Thank you

Ok. i'm in. We need to set up a multi-player tester game blitz. We need dedicated testers that can guarantee quick turnaround time with player turns, so we rush through a scenario as quickly as possible. I found that some bugs only seem to pop up in 7-human player games and only later in the game. Who is in?

We have 3, but we need 7 for a multi-player beta test. Are there even 7 testers out there?

I think we need to go ahead and begin the beta multiplayer playtest, even though we don't have have 7 yet, otherwise our findings might not be relevant to the upcoming patch.

I will be sending out an email to all those interested. I can be the game host but don't have to be, if someone else would rather do it. I have experience running 3 multi-player games, although I'm not quite up to par on using the editor. If anyone else would like to jump in last minute, email me directly at: bbrodowskI@sc.rr.com

Sorta, are you an official playtester? If so, shoot me an email to bbrodowski@sc.rr.com. I'm sorry if there was some confusion. The test game is supposed to kick off using the latest 1.86Beta, which is not publicly available yet.
