aztez (A) vs centex2611 (J) / DaBabes Lite

Hello,

I decieded to start another PBEM as allied.

This will my third ongoing game and hopefully can give good challenge to my opponent.

The game will be vs vaned74 who goes by centex2611 nickname now.

My opponent will open his own AAR from japanese perspective. This will focus on allied dealings and ongoings.

As usual this PBEM is not aimed at autovictory on points but instead to reach 1946's no matter how good/bad the game goes.

I will post houserules and details here after they are confirmed.

This will not be original game since we will be using DaBabes Lite for this PBEM.

Argh.. that thumbs down was on autopilot! [:D] ... now it is fixed. I do just hope that it was not an bad omen!

This is most likely an retro style AAR... maybe lacking behind week or two from the actual gametime.

Also need to update the AAR vs erstad. Some bloody things happening there. I will do that tomorrow though.

Really looking forward to this, after our PBEM we will take a look at DaBabes ourselves.

One question: What influenced your decision to try DaBabes lite and not the complete mod?
Did you take a look at both?

Thanks LoBaron! Lets see what I can do againts him.

No turns yet and it will take me couple of days to sort the allied side of things too. It might go a bit faster since have done that couple of times.

It was actually vaned that proposed DaBabes lite version and I don't have anything againts that. The two games I got ongoing are vanilla AE so a bit of a change does not hurt.

This definately should be fun match up and I know Rob went againts him in classic witp. Few major bugs ruined that game though in late years.

I have been following the scenario section and like what I read about DaBabe's mods. Especially the ASW thing which is definately way screwed up in original version.

I have never seen such laser guided ASW and japanese can pick off allied submarines for fun.

My opponent suggested few tweaks regarding supply distrubition in the game. Well, that does not bother me but his merchant fleets are even more valuable with them.

More details abouts that one and HR once the actual turn comes in.


EDIT: This PBEM is cancelled. Instead will start new one as Japan. There is another AAR coming up from that saga.

Definitely , DaBabes looks to be a great MOD , will be fun to see an allied perspective of this one, even if its for purely selfish reasons [;)].
