Recon Planes Cause Crash?

Hi

played through to scenario 9 as the US and had few in any crashes.

Started 10 as the Japanese and gave up after crashes involving US P38 recon AC. Same happens in scenario 11.

Seems to be a combination of air strike and recon aircraft causing the crash and only the allied recon aircraft?

Playing as the US against the AI I've seen many combined strikes with P-38 recon aircraft and other bombers work.

Could this be the well known strafing problem described in other threads?

The AI seems to like to send in US aircraft in strafing missions and quite often, if not always, this causes a crash. I loaded one of my save files recently with me as the Jap player instead and I think it crashed every time because the AI sent B-25s on strafing missions.

Try searching on Akagi and user dgaad and you'll find some more info about this.

Sounds like it - will it get fixed in 1.2?

Pretty unplayable as the Japs at the moment.

Like I saud I have played through as the US but against the allied AI I get pretty consistent crashes.
