Stockpiling question

How does stockpiling work in the beta versions in regards to Resource & Oil Storage?

If I turn on the stockpiling feature will it always try to keep on hand the resorces & oil needed for production?

I havent played with it much, but my understanding is stockpiling on means nothing leave the the hex. So if you want excess resources for example in a hex to go elsewhere, you should leave it off. The only place you would want to turn a resource stockpile "on" is a place that you want them to accumulate for shipment elsewhere. Like Fusan for example.

The major use for stockpiling is to control your supplies and fuel.

Will there be a proper updated e.manual explaining all this new ( good) stuff?

No new person can play this game until there is a proper e-manual , its all got too much. WITE is making a brave attempt to update the manual i hope this does as well.

In the meantime, there's still a wiki where things can be posted. Nice to have it all in one place, rather than having to search the forums.
