Taking the big step.

Post by Truppenstab »

Have purchased and downloaded this game after sometime of thinking about taking the big step. I have War Plan Orange and still play against the computer sometimes. But I am noticing that AE is a very lot bigger and with a lot of more units. I read the after action reports and all other posts that I can. But I am finding it very hard to learn even a small game. Is there please any tips that you of experts would have to start to make sense of the game.

Paul.

And really, if you want to learn (and have fun) advertise for a newish human opponent in the forum and start a small scenario. Unless, you never want to play vs a human-learning vs the AI can cause you to develop some bad habits.

I can absolutely confirm this ! I was really surprised by some actions from my opponent in my first PBEM.
Like PBY´s firing torps at my PI landing fleet....with some success.
