Serious turn based/otherwise game

For one reason and another I have not been getting too much time for war-games recently. The last game iv consistently played is WITE. As much as I do love WITE I need to sort out some pbem, I'm looking for something else.

Iv played both cota and httr, and think I would prefer bftb even more due to the setting, however what's holding me back is the worrying lack of a community and no pbem, anyone have any comments on that point?

Next my choices seem to be toaw 3 or another game I'm yet to discover. Is toaw still live so far as pbem is concerned, or is the hps series more populated?

I'm looking for a realistic (so far as is possible) game. Scale doesn't concern me but I like a good interface and if possible more WITE than hps 1998 windows box and drop down menu.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Doesnt appear to be too busy to be honest beyond hps and combat mission...

 They may look slow, but if you posted a request for a game in the Tiller TOC section I bet you would have a response within hours.  For TOAW...it seems a bit slower...I do not play TOAW PBEM so I am not sure.  If I had to choose between TOAW and Panzer Campaigns for a PBEM game I would choose Panzer Campaigns.   Nothing against TOAW but I prefer to PzC for PBEM.
