Unit Type

Post by dbmsts »

In Locations, for LCUs there is a "Unit Type" drop down box at the bottom right corner of the rest of the fields. The editor manual says,
Type is a number from 1 to 3 that informs the Artificial Intelligence what kind of ground unit this is. If the unit is a small infantry type unit (regiment or smaller) it should be given a 1. If the unit is a large
infantry type unit (brigade or division) it should be given a 2. If the unit is not an infantry type unit it should be given a 3.

However, in the dropdown box the 01 has a brigade written in front of it and 02 has a regiment written in front of it. So for an infantry division should I select 01 or 02?

01 is "< brigade" and 02 is "> regiment", where "<" means less than and ">" means greater than. So if the unit is smaller than a brigade, it should be 01, and if it is larger than a regiment, it should be 02. A division is larger than a regiment, so it would be 02.
