Fans of the old Panzer General series rejoice for the release of Panzer Corps. Following in the footsteps of the popular SSI masterpiece and sharing with the General series the same level of engagement and strategic depth, Panzer Corps will keep an unmistakable "PG feeling" whilst improving and refining the gameplay and balance. Panzer Corps will feature 26 scenarios on 21 unique maps, covering most major battles of the European Theatre of World War II and including a few hypothetical 'what if' scenarios based on your actions. Now expanded with a full-war mega-campaign and the Afrika Corps and Allied Corps releases!

Great game follow up to Panzer General II!
A few changes I would like to see in the next version:
- Put ALL fighters, including "swing" multi-purpose, in the fighter catagory so that they can escort bombers/protect hexes. E.g. the Me110 airframe was originally designed for bomber escort (twin engine for more payload/fuel) but in the "Tactical Bomber" catagory it can't escort/protect.
- Give "Strategic Bombers" a 1 hex attack range so that multiple bombers can attact the same hex in one turn.
- Fix the StuG/H (assault gun/howitzer) representation: These were (copies of an Italian invention) intended to support infantry assault formations "up frount" with self propelled artillery. Their primary targets were to be hardened fortifications and crew served weapons positions using APHE and HE shells, respectively, firing directly or at low angle (22.5 degrees or less). They were more responsive than "indirect fire artillery" in that they spotted their own targets and could adjust their own fire. In the Stu configuration, the 75mm/L24 (StuGIIIB) should have soft AND hard attack of 7 at range 1; the 105mm/L2 (StuH42) should have both a soft and hard attack of 11 at range 1. Later StuGIIIs with the 75mm/L43 should keep the soft attack of 7 and hard attack 13 as these were "dual purpose" weapons (not just anti-tank).
