Multiple home world types

How do you code for races that can start the game being able to settle in multiple planet types. I only see one "home world" in the race matrix.

I am not sure that you can; you can up their technology level and that might give them the technological capability to inhabit other worlds, but I do not think you can do so out of the gate.

TJ is right, afaik. Increasing the tech level however does give you all the techs for that level not only the colonization ones

In the Galactapedia some of the original races mention them being found on different planet types such as desert and continental. What happens if I convert the home world of one of these to glacier planets. Will they only show up on glacier planets. How do the original races show up on more than one planet type (or is that hard coded as well??)
