Naming Units and Unit Colors

Post by halder252 »

2 questions

I know you can name units with the Alt-N option but my question is does every scenario and campaign start with generic named units, like 27th Panzer, 11th Wehrmact and so on? I usually change my units to Panzer Lehr, Gross Deutschland, SS Das Reich, 101st Airborne, Royal Marines and so on, depending on the side and scenario I play.

So are there some scenarios where there are units that are historically named??

Second questions are all the units mono colored (except for special units)? The German Field Grey is kind of monotonous.

Did anyone develop different units and unit colors for the game, if so where can I download them.

Thanks

When I try the Alt-N it doesn't work. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

It seems all default scenarios use generic names, I create my own custom scenarios using historic names. Hopefully other do the same.

Feldgrau is the name of the game for Wehrmacht units.
The SE (really SS) units are camouflaged.

So, there isn't any chance to rename the units with historic Divisions' names?
