Ahh! My Campaign!! Noooo!!!

Fans of the old Panzer General series rejoice for the release of Panzer Corps. Following in the footsteps of the popular SSI masterpiece and sharing with the General series the same level of engagement and strategic depth, Panzer Corps will keep an unmistakable "PG feeling" whilst improving and refining the gameplay and balance. Panzer Corps will feature 26 scenarios on 21 unique maps, covering most major battles of the European Theatre of World War II and including a few hypothetical 'what if' scenarios based on your actions. Now expanded with a full-war mega-campaign and the Afrika Corps and Allied Corps releases!

Ahh! My Campaign!! Noooo!!!

Post by sgoconnor »

After achieving a decisive victory in the "Rush to Moscow" campaign and being briefed on my next mission (invade the USA), my campaign came to a swift and abrupt end. It wasn't the US armed forces that stopped me dead in my tracks but my beloved "Panzer Corps 1.01". After clicking proceed I get unceremoniously returned to the main menu screen and then nothing. I can't seem to continue my campaign.

I upgraded to version 1.01 mid "Rush to Moscow". I've tried my save file on a different PC running version 1.0, I tried replaying the last few turns from an earlier save, I tried the auto axis and allied saves, I even allowed a marginal victory from a earlier save but to no avail.

Any ideas?

I love the game to death but I don't have the heart to start over from scratch.
