Build 1108q6 wont save - virus detected?

Hi,

attempted to save file several times but deletes immediately after download after virus check.

MS explorer states virus detected.

??? thoughts ??

It sounds like a false positive.  Most virus checkers have an exception list you can set.  If it gives you the option of exempting a directory, do that for the save directory.

Thanks, but it is not the game saves that are the problem but the actual download that is attached to michael's link.

When I download the q6 it looks like it is successful but when I attempt to locate the file it is not there. It even says download complete but never shows up to retrieve. Open and check folder are ghosted in firefox download list. Never had this before so I don't know. I tried exception the save directory and turning off virus checker but it may be the file link. Anyone else with issues?

I downloaded the latest beta last week via Firefox. Norton didnt complain.

I just d'led now and it it is fine (used Firefox and Norton).

It could be that IE is not liking the file as it is zipped. Some AV default to treating all ZIPs as "bad".

Ok figured it out.

It is a AVG 2012 issue with two files preventing saving of downloads.

Anyone else with issues can check here.
