What are they firing??

a battery of Confed arty (6pdr by the pic) is doing 600 plus
casualties not only on my troops in battle but against forts
as well! my own 11in Rodmans are only doing 89-150 or
so. Do the Rebs have Tac Nukes?? Also at some levels
equipped with the same weapons and at about the same
training they fire about 50% better than my best Union
troops. Also seem to have a larger army then mine and
im maxed out money wise supporting mine yet theirs keeps
growing tho i have them on 2xweaker and me on 1xstronger.

What difficulty level?
At the higher levels the AI suffers less casualties. Use the detailed combat log to see what is really happening with those rolls (if you play detailed battles that is)
