Ketza (CCCP) vrs Carnage (Axis) no Carnage plz

My AAR with DAK is going to be slowing down so I thought I would start another with another forum dweller named Carnage.

His opening in the north after my moves. Fairly average assault with a fairly average defence. I retook as many hexes as possible and scattered the pockets.

In the center pretty much the same. He did not do the best job pocketing around Minsk but his pockets held. I think I set things up well enough where he wont get to Mogilev.

South - Lvow pocket that cannot be breached.

Air losses - He did ok but I have seen much better.

He is getting better on his openings. Be interesting to see what he has up his sleeve for a campaign plan for this game.

Turn 2 opening south - Uh oh!

Costly mistakes that will lead to railhead trouble and the Lvow pocket being opened.

Turn 2 opening center - Potential for trouble here as well

Turn 2 North start - I may have opportunities to cut major or delay all three of his Panzer spearheads.

North final - Might slow him down a turn.

Center 2 final - His Panzers are cut off briefly and most of the center pocket still lives. More delays!

South final 2 - 2 FBD units displaced and the Lvow pocket resupplied. This will cause him headaches. Overall turn 2 was pretty big in being able to cause delays for him we will see the long term impacts.
